We make Summer COOL! Treat your kids, rising 1st-7th graders, to a unique experience. Choose between our Adventure themed-camps or INSPIRE community service camps; both offer thrilling field trips,* activities and a place to develop new friendships. We also offer Cheer Camps and Tumble & Stunt Camps for those who would like to tryout some cheerleading, or advance their tumble and/or stunting skills.

We bring all the ingredients together to make this the most exciting and memorable summer camp your child will ever participate in! Our high-quality program offers a safe, clean and active environment, and is facilitated by experienced counselors that inspire a healthy lifestyle and foster self-esteem.

So, what are you waiting for? Enroll your child(ren) in one, or several, of our camps! We offer an Early Bird Discount available through February 21 11:59pm, as well as a 10% off sibling rate (full price for first child, 10% off the second+ child(ren), when siblings are enrolled in the same cart/transaction).

ADVENTURE CAMPS

Our Adventure themed-camps are designed to make it fun for kids to participate in new adventures and experiences and provides a pathway to new friendships and lifelong memories. Camps will include exposure to a wide variety of fun activities, exciting field trips*, crafts, games and much more. Camp activities are structured to promote self-confidence and build trust. INSPIRE CAMPS

Fitwize provides life-changing opportunities that will empower, inspire and instill compassion in each camper. We help to build self-awareness and self-confidence while learning how to help others in our community. For a full listing of our field trips, please refer to our Summer Camp Schedule. Here’s our summer preview:

Animals Camp: Fitwize Animal Shelter – Week 1, June 16-20
We will visit Green Meadows Petting Farm and plan to visit Friends of Homeless Animals and Equine Rescue League. Campers will learn about the training that goes into preparing K-9s to assist the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, the importance of Wolf Trap Animal Rescue, and how to take care of pets with a visit from Woofies.

Girls’ Confident Camp: Love Your Selfie, From the Inside Out – Week 4, July 7-11
Girls will spend the week gaining confidence and self-esteem as they are encouraged to explore their talents and strengths while they acquire leadership and teamwork skills. Field trips are planned for Always in Motion and AV Symington Water Park, along with a visit from our nutritionist.

Endangered Animal Camp: Where in the World – Week 5, July 14-18
Campers will learn about exotic, endangered and extinct animals and how we can help with compassion and kindness through hands-on field trips. This is a fan-favorite week as campers will get to meet many different animals when we visit Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and the National Zoo, as well as learn about bees with a Sustainable Honeybee presentation.

Community Camp: Kids Changing the Community and the World – Week 6, July 21-25
Valuable awareness will be gained as we focus on the importance of giving back to the community. We plan to participate in community service projects at a local food pantry and Ashburn Firestation, as well as work on a ‘Clean Out Your Closet’ and Toy Drive for Good Shepherd Alliance. Our reward for our hard work will be a fun day at AV Symington water park!

IMPORTANT SUMMER CAMPS INFORMATION

Camp Hours and Information 

  • Camp hours are 9:00am – 4:00pm.
  • Before-care (7:30am – 9:00am) is offered for an additional $20/week when reserved in advance.
  • After-care (4:00pm – 6:30pm) is offered for an additional $30/week when reserved in advance.
  • There is a $75/week non-refundable deposit required at the time of registration. Balance payments will be due 35 days prior to each camp week and are considered non-refundable.
  • 10% Sibling discount** offered when camps are paid for in the same cart/transaction.
  • ALL DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS ARE CONSIDERED NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE.  
  • All campers will need to bring a nut-free lunch/drink (including products processed in a facility with nuts) and swimsuit, towel and sunscreen for water days. Sneakers are required. Fitwize will provide an afternoon healthy nut-free snack.

Campers will receive ONE FREE t-shirt the first week they attend, and campers will be required to wear it during all field trips throughout the summer. An additional t-shirt may be purchased by adding it to your online cart; payment for an additional t-shirt ($15) will be due at the time registration is submitted. No extra t-shirts will be available onsite as we place our order in early-May.

We take registration forms on a first-come basis. Our camps have completely filled-up in the past, so please do not wait to enroll your child(ren) if you would like him/her to participate in a specific camp week. We do offer a waitlist, and will contact parents should a spot open.
