Running Club FAQs

Thank you for registering for the 2024 Fall Running Club. Our first session will be Wednesday, September 4 and ends on Wednesday, November 13. We will meet from 3:30-4:30pm and running shoes/sneakers are mandatory.

Where are you located?
Fitwize 4 Kids is located at 21720 Red Rum Drive, #112, Ashburn, VA 20147.

What time should my runner arrive?

Runners should arrive no earlier than 3:20pm and no later than 3:30pm as we will start on time. If your runner is part of our after school program, we will make sure to have them join us when we begin.

If you will be arriving late on any given week, please call our facility (703-723-4176) as we may have you join us at the track. The track is located at 44020 Grace Bridge Drive, Ashburn, VA 20147.

What time does Running Club end?
Parents should plan to pick up their child at 4:30pm at the Fitwize 4 Kids facility.

What should my runner wear?
Anything that will allow for movement. With the weather changing, we recommend runners dress in light removable layers (dri-fit clothing is recommended, but not required). Bring hats and gloves (weather dependent). Running shoes.

What should my runner bring?
Refillable water bottle and a positive attitude!

When is the end of season race?

The Fitwize Running Club will participate in the Ghost 5k Race & Scarecrow Sprint and participants need to register separately for this event (participation in the 5K is not mandatory to participate in the club). Participants need to ensure they have a buddy to run the race with prior to registering for the race.

  • October 26, 2024 at 4pm
  • Early bird discounted registration is available until September 27
  • Registration includes the 5K race, costume contest, t-shirt and medal after crossing finish line
  • Location: Dynasty Brewery
